back. some are bleeding. others are in shock. the strongest quake to hit in more than two years destroyed their homes, schools, and the presidential palace. thousands are believed to be buried in the rubble. and aftershocks are hampering rescue efforts. we need more people down here! reporter: about 10 survivors were pulled overnight from the united nations headquarters. but at least 100 people are still missing, including the mission chief. u.n. peacekeepers have been keeping order in haiti since 2004. but they re not able to provide much security. the u.s. is considering sending in more troops to help keep order as humanitarian help gets under way. president obama is also planning to help with supplies, personnel, and equipment. you have to be there for them in their hour of need. reporter: in miami s little haiti, haitian americans are trying to reach their loved ones in port-au-prince, without much luck. adele jean is praying for her brothers and sisters. ....
