In the last couple of hours, hundreds of thousands of catalans have marched through barcelona calling on the madrid government to free the jailed separatist leaders. Most of the demonstrations have been peaceful. However one protest has seen hardliners surround a Barcelona Police station, where theres currently a tense stand off.
