With summer comes schedule changes; different work hours, extra daycare arrangements, trips to the Farmer’s Market and swimming pool, summer camps and family vacations all come into view. Remember when the days seem to stretch on forever and it was light way past the usual bedtime? Thanks to my friend, Ellen Wilson-Pruitt, I took a couple weeks off from writing Art Cart. The staff at Reporter-Times has always been easy to work with and supportive, so I went to the beach! With grandkids! Nothing better! Now it is time to bet back on track with lots on art and community related events on the agenda. ....

ROCKPORT LeForest Earl Dodge, Jr., 75, husband of Marlene (Wentworth) Dodge, died on February 17, 2021 at Pen Bay Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Camden on November 2, 1945, he was the son of LeForest E. Dodge, Sr. and Virginia (Hills) Dodge and was a 1964 graduate of Camden High School. Lee served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam from 1964 to 1967 and married Marlene Wentworth in Rockport on September 13, 1969. After receiving his Associates’ Degree at Husson College in Bangor, he was employed at FMC in Rockland for 42 years.
Lee was a 42 member of the Camden American Legion Post #30 and 46 year member of the Rockland Elks Lodge. His hobbies included snowmobiling, riding his motor cycle, and travelling in their RV. Lee and Marlene spent several winters in Texas and had lived in Dover Foxcroft for a few years before moving back to Rockport. ....

Haldor Topsoe has two new appointments – CFO and CHRO
Philip Eickhoff has been appointed CFO of Haldor Topsoe effective immediately, and was recently was CFO of Atos Medical and before that Regional CFO of Coloplast North America. Most recently he has served as Industrial Advisor to global private equity funds. He has a consulting background from Bain & Company.
