The Sheridan City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger at Monday night’s Council study session, were updated on a proposed new process for awarding the additional retail liquor license the City received due to a population increase reported in the 2020 Census. The City of Sheridan received an additional retail liquor license due to an increase in population that was reported in the 2020 Census. A subcommittee made up of Councilors Shawn Day, Steve Brantz and Jacob Martin was formed last September to develop a process for awarding that additional license.
In December of 2021, due to an increase in population, the city was awarded an additional liquor license.
