Pfizer on Monday announced that it is supplying USD 70 million worth of COVID-19 treatment drugs to India. It added that it is discussing with the Indian government to expedited approval pathway to make its vaccine available in the country.
The development comes amid India facing a massive shortage of COVID-19 vaccines. Currently, Serum Institute of India (SII) manufactured Covishied and Bharat Biotech s Covaxin are the only two vaccines being administered in the country. ....
