East Kootenay Community Credit Union (EKC) continues with 70th Anniversary Legacy Campaign
Congratulations to the Elk Valley Senior Housing Society’s Lilac Terrace in Sparwood, the third recipient of $10,000 from the $50,000 Legacy Campaign as the final part of its 70th Anniversary $115,000 Celebration!
EKC’s Board of Directors initiated the celebration in honour of its 70th Anniversary. Its purpose is to continue support for strong, local communities and support community groups who have felt the impact of COVID-19.
Lilac Terrace is a residence in Sparwood that offers affordable housing and support for seniors. There are 42 apartments, some of which are eligible for subsidized housing through BC Housing. More information can be found at www.lilacterrace.net. ....
