The Progress-Index RICHMOND In what some referred to as a sad day in legislative history, the state Senate voted 24-9 Wednesday to censure Sen. Amanda F. Chase for what it called conduct unbecoming of a senator during their term in office. In return, the Chesterfield Republican and GOP candidate for governor vowed to take her colleagues to court over the vote. She claimed the reprimand was politically driven because of her overall outspokenness against Democrats and her unwavering support for former President Donald Trump. ....
