It’s day one of 2021 and around this time is when people start their resolutions, but because of the pandemic, the usual new year’s resolutions don’t seem to be a priority for most people. This means slow business for North Carolina gyms.
Gyms were among the first businesses to close as part of Gov. Cooper’s executive orders to prevent the spread of the virus. Upon reopening, gyms implemented several COVID-19 related changes including face masks and limiting the number of people allowed indoors.
