High-tech CPR device welcomed at Mackay Base Hospital Mackay Base Hospital Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit staff members have started training sessions to use the Corpuls CPR device in our simulation centre Health Contributed Premium Content Subscriber only The Mackay Base Hospital can now deliver lifesaving CPR with a high-tech device instead of manual chest compressions. The Corpuls CPR delivers effective and consistent compressions throughout resuscitation on patients as young as eight years of age. The device will primarily be used in the Emergency Department but can also be used in other areas such as the Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Catheter laboratory. ....
