FLINTSHIRE’s best schoolgirl footballers have celebrated a huge success after representing the county on the field.
Girls from schools across Flintshire, at under 11 level, beat Cardiff head to head on July and brought home the title of The Welsh schools FA, John Mann primary festival shield
Head coach Stephen Boyes said: “We’ve only been going for three years and yet these girls have grown and established themselves and they won all of their group games in North Wales.
“So then we got to go to the finals down in Cardiff, which we’ve never done before and it was a 9am kick off. ....
