Woman killed, 4 hurt in fiery chain-reaction crash on N.J. highway

A chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles killed a Jackson woman and injured four other motorists, police said.
The collisions occurred at about 12:20 p.m. Saturday on the eastbound side of the highway in Florham Park.
A truck pulling a utility trailer that was traveling in the left lane struck a vehicle driven by Stephanie Santora, 25, which was also in the left lane. Santora’s vehicle then struck a Toyota Rav4, which hit a Jeep Grand Cherokee, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez said Sunday.
Santora’s vehicle, the Toyota and the Jeep all went off the road to the left and struck a guardrail. Santora’s vehicle became engulfed in flames. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, Goez said. ....

FLORHAM PARK – Police identified the woman who died in a fiery chain-reaction crash on Route 24 this weekend.
The incident happened at 12:22 p.m. when a truck pulling a utility trailer traveling in the left lane struck a vehicle that was traveling in the left lane, police said.
The vehicle then struck a Toyota Rav4 , which then struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle, possibly a Toyota, and the Jeep went off the road to the left and struck the guardrail.

As a result, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. The driver, Stephanie Santora, 25, of Jackson, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced on scene. ....

A 25-year-old Jersey Shore driver died in a Morris County crash Saturday, authorities said.
Stephanie Santora, of Jackson, was behind the wheel of an unknown vehicle that was struck by a truck pulling a utility trailer east in the left lane of Route 24 near mile post 5.7 at 12:22 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez said.
The impact of the crash sent Santora s car into a Toyota RAV4, which then struck a Jeep Cherokee, Goez said.
Santora s car went up in flames and she was pronounced dead, while her 26-year-old male passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The truck driver, a 32-year-old man from Copiague, NY sustained minor injuries. The Toyota driver, a 37 Morristown woman, and the Jeep driver, a 50-year-old man from Morristown, both suffered moderate injuries, Goez said. ....
