The interesting contrast today was the speed with which this jury reached that guilty verdict and the months of time that this case spent in courtrooms and the five long years since sierra lamar disappeared on her way to that bus stop back in 2012. When i talked with Marlene Lamar about half an hour ago as she was leaving the courthouse to go home, i heard in her voice the same emotion that i heard five years ago had she was talking about her daughter having disappeared. Pretty much we had to relive this nightmare. It was pretty bad. It was actually more detailed and difficult to hear in the details. It was horrific to hear it ....
