SOUTHBURY â It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Jane C. Mulreany, on April 8, 2021, at the age of 84. Jane was born on January 22, 1937, in New York City to the late, Joseph and Clara (Zanelli) Marchini. She received a bachelorâs degree at Hunter College in New York City and a masterâs in social work at Fordham University in the Bronx, N.Y. Ever the professional, Jane spent her career as a dedicated social worker. Jane touched many lives. Jane lived for 30-plus years on Collier Drive in Carmel, N.Y., and formed many long-lasting friendships in the neighborhood. After her kids had all moved out, Jane sold her house on Collier Drive and moved to Heritage Village in Southbury. ....
