Prompting some Area School Districts to close. Others opened up on a delayed schedule. Its raising a few questions today about how neighboring systems came up with different decisions. Jeff goldberg is live with reaction to all of this. Hi jeff. Hey, alison. Its definitely a tough call for these districts. Im here in alexandria right now. This is Four Mile Run. On that side of Four Mile Run is arlington. Students had the day off from school. Here in alexandria it was a two hour delay. As the day has gone on this is what weve seen all over the place. These big ponds of water as the melting has continued and nothing but sunshine and really warm weather all over the place. And of course students in arlington very happy about the fact that they did not have school today and could enjoy the day off. School district said again, it was a tough call. They felt like sidewalks and roads would still be pretty icy even after a twohour delay at 10 00 or 11 00 this morning that they did not want to
