꽃이 피기 시작할 때 가보고 싶은 곳이 있다. 바로 연꽃이 피어나는 연꽃공원이다. 광주에서 연꽃을 구경할 수 있는 곳이 있는데 바로 양산 공원이다.
처음 광주에 내려와 연꽃이 피는 공원이 있다고 해서 찾아갔다. 지난해에도 그 지난해에도 연꽃 구경을 가기 위해 공원에 들렀는데 모두 가을에 찾아갔다. 공원을 한 바퀴 돌았지만 연꽃은 거의 져버렸고 연꽃 열매만 보다가 돌아왔다.
며칠 전 차를 타고 지나다가 양산 공원에 연꽃이 피어 있는 것을 보았다. 올해는 꼭 연꽃이 피기 시작할 때 한� ....
