The event offered everything from free STI screenings to blood pressure checks and vaccinations. It also provided health services for pets of unhoused Sacramentans.
The National Weather Service says there is the possibility of thunderstorms in the valley from 2 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday, which could bring lightning, hail and gusty winds.
Donations will fund repairs, maintenance, landscaping and new community porches at The Grove, which opened in North Sacramento three years ago and serves unhoused youth ages 18 to 24.
