Jon Tester and Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough had a round table discussion with about 20 local veterans on the MSU Billings campus Monday to hear the vets feedback about the VA health care system and struggles faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. The rural parts of this country give a lot of its sons and daughters to our fighting mission. My first trip as secretary here to Montana is simply to underscore that fact. That our delivery of services and care in our rural communities is a fundamental priority for our department, McDonough said in his opening remarks to the group. ....

MSU Billings holding in-person spring graduation By: MSU Billings and last updated 2021-03-05 19:54:17-05 Montana State University Billings announced Friday that they plan to hold in-person spring commencement on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at MetraPark. To maintain COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, two separate in-person ceremonies will be held on May 1. The first ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and will include graduates from City College and from the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. The second ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. and will include graduates from the Colleges of Business, Education, and Health Professions and Science. Face coverings are required for all graduates and attendees to help reduce the virus spread. ....
