CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men s rowing team has welcomed Oregon State alum Stefan Evano to its coaching staff, head coach Gabe Winkler announced Thursday.
 
I m thrilled at the opportunity to return to Corvallis and the Willamette River, said Evano. I m looking forward to working with Coach Winkler again - he s an outstanding coach who truly cares about all facets of his student-athlete s lives. The rowers here are eager to put in the work to find greatness on the water, and I m grateful for the opportunity to help them achieve their goals.
 
Evano joins Oregon State after spending five years with NorCal Rowing in Redwood City, Calif., most recently as the head coach of the varsity women s team. He helped NorCal achieve a multitude of best ever results for the team, including its first medals at the Head of the Charles Regatta, its best national championship finish in seven years and its first ever victories over some of California s lar ....
