The Steel City Roller Derby kicked off their season at the Pgh Indoor Sports Arena in Cheswick, Pa, on March 23, 2024. The Steel Beamers defeated the Hellbilly Heartbreakers 265-106. Heart of Glass Animal Rescue and Pittsburgh C.A.T. attended the game to collect donations for their rescues.
