In addition to wtoc, this debate is also airing in acosta, columbus, albany, thomasville. The candidates are eight feet apart and as you can see, there is a plexiglas divider between them. We are following cdc recommendations. Here are the rules for tonights debate. Candidates will have 1 30 for opening and closing statements, 1 15 to answer a question when it is posed to both. Candidates can request a rebuttal if they are named or attacked by the candidate in their answer. The candidate will have 45 seconds for a rebuttal. We also have directed questions for individual candidates. They will have 1 15 for a response. The other candidate will have 45 seconds for comment if they choose to.
