First responders have told people along the coast in louisiana that the time to run has passed and now people have to hunker down and barrel through the storm. We want to check in with Lauryn Ricketts. First and foremos this storm system is continuing to churn very slowly over the last several hours. It has sped up. From three miles to five miles an hour, heading towards the coast of louisiana. Now, not sure if its going to get to category 1 status manufacture it makes landfall. Winds are 65 miles an hour. The thing is, it m doesntatter if it makes hurricane 1 status, capgory 1 status, or troal storm. The damage is starting to be done right here. Lots of rain headed towards new orleans, towards baton rouge, just to the west of new orleans.
