As Beaver Stadium sits empty, and herd immunity remains on the horizon in Pennsylvania, Penn State football coach James Franklin reminded the community that getting a COVID vaccine is the quickest pathway to normalcy.
I encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated,  Franklin said Wednesday at a news conference with Gov. Tom Wolf on campus. The more people who are vaccinated, the better chance we have to get back to 107,000 strong here in Beaver Stadium.
Penn State has not yet announced whether fans will be allowed back in the stands or at what capacity. Football programs in the Big Ten conference will be allowed to determine their own crowd size limits. ....
