That’s the question two government-related entities Calgary Economic Development (CED) and Alberta Innovates are trying to answer as they devote about $50 million of taxpayer money to the cause.
The Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund, which is administered by CED, announced Wednesday it has issued two different requests for proposals as it strives to see 1,000 startup tech companies established in the city over the next decade.
