The Walt Disney Company in Malaysia today as it has officially launched the Astro is the local partner for Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia. Officially, The Walt Disney Company referred to Astro as the official distributor of the streaming service in Malaysia. This allows the pay-TV operator to offer Disney+ Hotstar to its customers which is generally similar to the deal that it already has with HBO and iQIYI. Specifically, access to Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia will be made available for Astro customers that have a subscription to its Movie Pack.
