The warning from Health Officials is clear if youre overweight or obese and get coronavirus, youre more likely to end up in hospital, more likely to become critically ill. It shows the bigger the bmi, or body mass index, the risk of intensive care increases. Someone who is severely obese has over four times the risk compared to someone who is the normal weight.
