Standout Jamaican sprinter Kevona Davis, representing the University of Texas, registered an impressive 23.26 seconds to finish second overall in the women’s 200m at the Wooo Pig Classic indoor meeting at Arkansas at the Randal Tyson Track Center on Friday. The 19-year-old Davis, who missed out in her first college race last week after she false-started in the 60m heat, bounced back to officially opened her collegiate career. The Longhorns freshman won heat three ahead of home favourite Jayla Hollis, who took second place in 23.35 in the third-best time overall.
