Inquest finds teen found dead in Kinver took his own life


Coroner concludes teenager, 16, found dead in Kinver took his own life
A CORONER has concluded a teenager found dead in Kinver on Christmas Eve took his own life.
Dominic Monty Moroney-Fox, known as Dom, aged 16, was found at Kinver Community Association Recreational Ground, on Legion Drive, at about 5.30am on Thursday December 24.
Emergency crews attended but he was confirmed dead at the scene.
The teenager, from Winston Road in Kidderminster, was later confirmed to have died from hanging.
An inquest was opened on December 30 by senior coroner for South Staffordshire, Andrew Haigh, and at a hearing yesterday (Tuesday May 11) at Stafford Coroner s Court he concluded the teen s death had been due to suicide while distressed. ....
