Clint Hardy, owner of Mr. Clint's in Welsh put together "Soda Baskets of Love" for Valentine's Day. Hardy said he launched a soda pop shop in his hometown to help trigger nostalgia.
Valentine’s Day originated as a feast to celebrate the decapitation of a third-century Christian martyr, or perhaps two. It took a gruesome path to becoming a romantic holiday.
