The team at Miriam Medical Centre in Birkenhead is delivering the coronavirus vaccine by appointment only
A Birkenhead medical centre selected to be part of the first GP-led rollout of the coronavirus vaccine is on track to hit its target this week.
Miriam Medical Centre was chosen as a designated site to deliver the first wave of the Covid-19 vaccination on behalf of 20 GP surgeries.
The programme commenced on Monday (December 14) and has so far vaccinated over 600 people at the Laird Street premises, who say they will have reached the target of 975 people by close of play tomorrow.
