Summary
The hearing notice was premised on the complaint filed by the National Forestry Authority (NFA) alleging that the certificates of title that are held by various people were erroneously and or wrongly in part or in whole issued on land which forms part of the central forest reserves in the country.

Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development has moved to cancel at least 79 land tiles identified in the Central Forest Reserves across the country.
In the notice issued on Tuesday, the ministry summoned registered proprietors of the titles for a hearing aimed at amending the register book citing provisions of Section 91 of the Land Act.
