Hyundai Uncovers TIGER its ‘Walking Machine’ Driverless Vehicle

Hyundai Motor Group (OTCMKTS: HYMTF) revealed TIGER (transforming intelligent ground excursion robot), an ultimate mobility vehicle designed to be completely autonomous. The vehicle was manufactured to work as both a four-wheel-drive car as well as a “four-legged walking machine”.
TIGER was built for scientific exploration and remote locations. It features 360-degree directional control and several sensors used for remote observation. The vehicle can link to driverless aerial vehicles (UAV’s), that can charge and transport TIGER to out-of-reach areas.
Both Hyundai’s California-based New Horizons Studio and U.S. firms Autodesk and Sundberg-Ferar have worked together on the project. ....
