Six Iowa care facilities have been placed in receivership and are shutting their doors after the owner informed state officials they could no longer continue operations.

UPDATE (12/11) Tennesse Department of Health has confirmed clusters at 535 long-term care facilities in the state.
According to TDH, there have been 12,155 residents with COVID-19, and 1,556 (or 12.8%) of them have died.
There have been 10,031 staff members diagnosed with COVID-19.
TDH has reported 45 deaths in East Tennessee nursing homes since December 4.
UPDATE (11/20): 19 more residents of long-term care facilities in East Tennessee have died, meaning at least 54 residents in East Tennessee have died in the past three weeks.
