BC residents 30+ now able to signup for AstraZeneca shot at participating pharmacies SHARE ON: BC’s vaccine program is taking another step forward. Residents 30 years of age and up are now able to join waitlists to receive a dose of AstraZeneca at participating pharmacies. Previously, those only 40 and over were able to sign up for their shot at a local pharmacy. Twelve pharmacies in Prince George are taking part in the AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD COVID-19 program. Harmony House expansion given green light by council SHARE ON: BC Housing A 14 unit supportive housing development for women and children was given the rubber stamp by Prince George City Council at last night’s (Monday) meeting. The Phoenix Transition Society is planning on expanding its Harmony House operation to Zelkwas Avenue in the Spruceland neighbourhood making it the third location in Prince George. The non-profit offers temporary housing and shelter for pregnant women and new mothers who have experienced and are at risk of abuse and violence. It gives emotional support, crisis intervention, safety planning, children support, referrals and specialized outreach. ....
