Lake Oswego chapter of National Charity League holds membership drive
Mother and daughter organization commits to service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
The Lake Oswego chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) provides a space for mothers and daughters to grow their relationships while simultaneously giving back to the community.
The local chapter, which formed more than 30 years ago, is seeking new members and is hosting a membership drive Thursday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
The local organization serves more than 30 local charities, including the Tualatin School House Food Pantry, Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation, the Oregon Humane Society and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Mercy Team a group focused on outreach and social justice that was founded by the local parish in 2017. Currently the local organization has roughly 250 mothers and daughters and is committed to service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
