6月8日，南县德昌公园段德昌生平业绩陈列馆，馆长蒋学军忙得“脚不沾地”。陈列馆将在闭馆修缮后，于6月中下旬重新对外开放。
此次闭馆修缮虽由国内一流专业团队设计、布展，但对呈现的内容、细节，蒋学军反复揣摩。“不是不放心，而是责任大，我对这位‘党的赤子’满怀崇敬。”他说。
段德昌的一生只有短短29个年头，但他迸发出的绚烂光辉，足以点亮历史长空。生前，他是湘鄂西根据地主要创建者之一，被称为“火龙将军”“常胜将军”;身后，他是共和国“第一号烈士”、中国当代36位军事家之一，被评为“100位为新中国成立作出突出贡献的英雄模范人物”。
1904年8月，段德昌出生于南县。他是一个天生的革命家，热血激昂又冷静理性;喜爱读书又关心国事。还在读高小时，就积极投身反帝反封建运动，参加“五七� ....
