A 27-year-old track record was rewritten on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 24) by 25-1 longshot winner YS Sensationalcity at Hippodrome 3R. The three-year-old pacing filly broke the oldest track record on the books at 3R.
The day started out with the trainers needing to add mud fenders and the drivers rain gear, but despite racing over a 'good,' rain-soaked track, the show continued at Hippodrome 3R on Sunday, Sept. 10 with the $500,000 Quebec-bred championships for two and three-year-old trotters and pacers.
