The six-month long hunt for Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) chief executive officer (CEO) may be over.
According to sources within the BNSC, the commission has identified current acting CEO Tuelo Serufho as its man for the job.
Serufho was seconded to the BNSC from sister organisation Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC).
Serufho was appointed acting BNSC CEO after the departure of Falcon Sediomo’s retirement.
He was allegedly offered contractual extension but opted to retire after having spent five year as the head of BNSC secretariat.
“As a norm his name was sent to Cabinet for approval and they have since done that. It is a matter of time before he could be revealed to the public” said the sources.
