Print Vista’s Wave Waterpark is set to reopen summer weekends from June 19 through Sept. 6, with limits on capacity. The waterpark, run by the City of Vista for more than 25 years, was closed last summer because of the pandemic. Attractions include a floating river, slide tower, flow rider, rip tide slide, spray park and competition pool. Weekly Splash Camps for kids start June 14 and run 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays for kids 7 to 15 years old. The waterpark will follow COVID-19 safety mandates, including requiring face coverings when not in the water and staying at least 6 feet from others. It is recommended that visitors be vaccinated before entering the park. No one should enter if, within the last 72 hours, they had a temperature higher than 100.4°F, coughing, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or have been in close contact with anyone having COVID-19. ....
