The company had posted a profit of Rs 198 crore in the preceding June quarter. During the quarter, the passenger RASK increased by 11% due to increase in yield by 8% and load factor by 3%. The airline has launched 13 new routes during the quarter. In the planned and phased infusion of fresh capital of Rs 500 crore by the promoter, Rs 200 crore has already been received by the company.
