Back on the court, Pacific men’s looks to get back in pre-quarantine rhythm [The Record, Stockton, Calif] Since its Dec. 2 home win over Montana State, the Pacific men’s basketball team has had more COVID-19 related quarantines than games played. Following the Tigers’ 74-70 overtime victory over the Bobcats, the Tigers received news that a member of their Tier 1 traveling party had tested positive for the coronavirus, sending the team into a two-week hiatus. Only one game after its return from the court, a 92-64 win at Westmont College, Pacific had another positive test, sending it into another quarantine.

Three Takeaways from Pacific's 77-74 home loss to Santa Clara [The Record, Stockton, Calif]

Three Takeaways from Pacific’s 77-74 home loss to Santa Clara [The Record, Stockton, Calif] STOCKTON Two days after its first home win of the season, the Pacific women’s basketball team looked like a completely different group. In its second consecutive home game, the Tigers quickly fell behind Santa Clara in the first quarter and was forced to play from behind all afternoon long. Pacific scratched its way back to a four-point deficit with less than a minute to play, but ultimately the hole that the Tigers dug themselves into ended up being too deep, as the Tigers (4-3, 2-2 WCC) fell to the Broncos 77-74 at the Spanos Center.
