Above Ground Back Yard Pool

Demand for pools remains very high as Rhode Island moves toward its 2021 swimming season, but local pool store owners say they currently have enough chlorine on the shelves for now.
National news outlets are warning that a chlorine shortage could throw a wrench in the summer season, and Jeff McLaughlin, of Branch Village Pool & Spa Needs in North Smithfield, said that while he’s heard of other areas dealing with a shortage in chlorine tablets, he hasn’t had a problem yet this year. The North Smithfield store, he said, is currently well stocked with both liquid chlorine and tablets.
