As election uncertainty still continues to weigh on the market, investors are now looking for clues about the timing and extent of the US Fed policy easing
Sandip Agarwal asks: "Despite a strong TCV, why is the growth guidance so low? We are not able to connect the dots of what is pulling down growth so much and why they are projecting this kind of growth. In my view, this guidance and these numbers are on the lower side of what anyone would have been anticipating."
Sandip Agarwal says: “This quarter, the IT companies will show a slight beat in margin. In the next quarter, thereshould be a bigger beat in margin followed by even further better margins in the first half of FY25. We will have good margins to start with followed by good revenue growth.”
Sandip Agarwal says: According to me, the IT sector has gone through a good time correction. So, possibly we will see another 10-15% return, which the sector gives every year at different points of time. That time will be, sometimes in the next few months, where it should deliver that return.
Sandip Agarwal says: “This will be a year of chasing value rather than growth in the sector. And Wipro was most reasonably priced at 410-420 and I think the market has brought it to some level playing field in that sense. I would say 10-15% return for next one year in the tech index and sector is very much possible because that margin has a huge scope to go up. ”
