Olmstead received her doctorate of audiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her externship at Arkansas Otolaryngology Clinic in Little Rock, where her experience included diagnostic evaluation and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Olmstead is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology.
