House sales in Fairfield County are not the only real estate transactions on an upward trend. Short-term rentals, particularly in waterfront communities, are also in demand as the pandemic lingers on.
The 13-room French Provincial house at 987 Pequot Avenue in Fairfield’s Southport Village allows renters to “feel as if you’re vacationing in the South of France,” listing Agent Jaclyn Picarillo said.

“Gorgeous symmetry, pleasing balance, steep cedar roofline and painted white brick exterior you truly feel you have been whisked away to the French countryside when coming down the meandering drive,” according to Picarillo.
