Sefton Council has confirmed it will push ahead with plans for a new conference centre as part of plans to regenerate Southport.
The proposed Marine Lake Events Centre is at the heart of the council’s plans for the £37.5m it has been awarded by the government’s Town Deals Fund, meant to boost “left behind” towns. ....
