Commissioners extend temporary JFS contract, hold bid opening

Highland County commissioners Jeff Duncan, Terry Britton and David Daniels held a bid opening and extended a temporary employment contract during a brief meeting July 14 before traveling to Rocky Fork Lake to celebrate the completion of electrical upgrades.
During their regular Wednesday morning meeting which included approximately seven minutes in open session, plus a short recess commissioners voted 3-0 to extend a contract with Donald Myers at Highland County Job & Family Services. ....
