I want to talk to you about this book that i have written, the amistad rebellion. I want to begin by reminding everybody just what happened in that story. Okay . Does let me summarize what happened. The year is 1839. This sleek schooner, la amistad, which in spanish means friendship. It contains 53 enslaved africans. Men and children, including three little girls.
