Russia’s Southern Military District announced today that the troops stationed in the south of the country will receive over 1,600 new equipment by the end of this year.
In 2021, over 1,600 weapon systems are to be delivered, which will boost the share of advanced weaponry to 71% by the end of the year, Alexander Dvornikov, Southern Military District Commander, said.
The armed forces took delivery of around 100 pieces of new military hardware including multiple launch rocket systems, aircraft and armored vehicles in the month of March. ....
