Clemson Tigers Wrap Up Day One of Southern Intercollegiate Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – The Clemson Tigers completed the first day of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships as four duos earned wins in doubles and three Tigers recorded singles wins in Athens.  “We took a step in the right direction in doubles today which was nice to see after the work the guys have been putting in since the last tournament. Singles we are continuing to learn more about ourselves and what it is going to take in the important moments to get the results they want to get. Tomorrow is another great opportunity for the guys to commit to the process,” Head Coach Brandon Wagner said.  The Tigers earned four victories in doubles as the dynamic duo of Noa Vukadin and Maxwell Smith went undefeated on the day. The duo defeated Georgia Tech’s Paul Wang and Rohan Sachdev 8-2 to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinal match, the duo took down Georgia Tech’s Sachdev and Krish Arora 8-6.  Marko Mesarovic and Trey Stinchcomb earned the victory against Charlotte's Spen ....
