People were ooing and ahing over it there. jon: part of the value is the condition and because it was stored in alaska, where mike s. that helps increase the value of it, huh? absolutely. and before i got my hands on t. mike had sent me a scan of t. i got the comic with me right here, by the way, he had sent me a scan, i could tell the cover looked pretty nice, but what really struck me when i got the comic and opened it up was how amazingly white the pages were, and that is what being stored 150 miles south of the arctic circle will do for you. i see a lot of other copies that have been in attics, in the southeastern usa and these things were printed on cheap paper and the paper can get pretty brittle, so it was great to see a copy with such pages. jon: i imagine the viewers are going to be scrambling around attics and in their bureaus, looking for old copies of these things, but what is it that makes them so valuable? there a few key comic ....
